Behind the scenes is a team of receptionists, secretaries and administrative staff to make sure the business of health care goes smoothly. There are six part time receptionists and a dispenser on the front line, as well as a secretary and three administrators in the office upstairs. Their task is to make sure patients are guided through the system of making appointments appropriately, seeing the doctor or nurse, receiving medicines for those who do not go to the pharmacy, and referral to hospital if needed. Their job is a difficult one, made easier by the occasional smile of appreciation!
