Practice nurses can be seen by appointment during surgery hours (for example, for procedures such as dressings, injections, ear syringing, ECGs, pregnancy testing, hearing tests, wart treatments).
Ask for an appointment with a Practice Nurse for consultations regarding travel advice, general health checks, pill checks, dietary advice or new patient checks. Practice nurses work with the GPs to provide routine care for many people with longstanding problems such as high blood pressure, heart disease or diabetes.
